Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN and works as the SportsCenter News Anchor. She was hired by ESPN as a reporter in 2016. She is a daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual since nine years old a useful talent that enabled her to get her first job working as an assistant to the producer at Univision in Miami which allowed her to work with the producers of national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. Then she was promoted to a reporter for the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. In 2009, she moved away from Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she was a news reporter on KNVO TV 48 Univision. Reporting on stories on the trafficking of drugs and immigration on both sides the Texas-Mexico border, she was a news reporter on KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 from 5pm, then an anchor for the news channel with a news anchor in English until 9pm, then a news anchor for 10 pm, and then returned to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. Her duties as an anchor on sports and weather was regularly requested. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's station affiliated with Dallas. There she had more responsibility. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS, and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason Finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports channel Accion Deportiva Extra, on where she was anchor. The show was promoted to be anchoring sports on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She also played the position on Primer Impacto on UniMas Network as well as Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved in Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born on November 1985. There is a sister. The family moved to Miami after relocating from Mexico in the US. In 1992, her parents separated then shortly thereafter in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo who was naval engineer, who passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. The time of summer when she was with her sibling living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured an employment. Antonietta had just graduated high school but already knew the things she wanted to accomplish. She loved the campus. It also gave her the program she was interested in. After graduation, she enrolled at the university with an undergraduate major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a member. They developed a close friendship. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her by his love of journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
